Princess Report *Flashback Friday*

Let’s go back to a time when the supers were so busy being super that they struggled to get out of bed for less than $10k a day while the rest of us mere mortals hauled ourselves off to school/uni/work [insert much less interesting activity here] ….. Time called it a year of both hope and despair, a year that changed the world. The Berlin Wall fell, spelling the end of the Cold War; we saw the horrors of Tiananmen Square, the devastating Newcastle earthquake and the Hillsborough Stadium tragedy in the UK; the USSR withdrew from Afghanistan after 10 long and bloody years; one of the most devastating human caused environmental disasters occurred in Alaska’s Prince William Sound when the Exxon Valdez hit a reef; a secret meeting between President Botha and the then imprisoned Mandela signalled the first steps toward the end of apartheid in South Africa and the first browser was created along with Hypertext Transfer Protocol (aka http) and Hypertext Markup Language (html)…. the internet revolution had begun. The year was 1989 and The Trinity as Linda, Naomi and Christy liked to be called, ruled the fashion world. As the gorgeous Linda once said “We don’t ‘vogue’; we are vogue.” Here they are doing a fabulous supermodel version of hearing, speaking and seeing no evil in New York that very same year. Happy Friday Everyone xxx
