Fashion Palette Sydney

Get a taste for Australian fashion at this years Fashion Palette Sydney. Back in it’s fourth year, the world class event gives both established and emerging designers a chance to show off their wears in unique runway presentations that can be viewed by not just an industry and media audience, but customers too!

With the Spring Summer 2013 collections from the likes of Jayson Brunsdon, Nicola Finetti, Bettina Liano and many more on show, the two day event is set to thrill. Coupled with live performances and housed in the ever inspiring Carriageworks space, be sure to check it out this Friday and Saturday.

We got a sneak peek at the events launch party the other night and are happy to report an exciting mix of up and coming fashion talents on show alongside those more established labels. Renee, of emerging label Maple & Ray is excited to be showing at Fashion Palette for the first time and says audiences can expect “great colours and use of geometric shaping but definitely something that will get them thinking.”

No longer just the domain of fashion mag folk, this is a fashion event for consumers to see first hand the trends for the coming seasons and to make their own forecasting predictions.  For much loved designer Nicola Finetti, that means all things sexy, edgy and cool. Showing a moodier collection in which the “silhouette is tailored and soft at the same time, the right juxtaposition of contrasts” we asked what attendees could expect from his show. “I guess a full house” – something I’m sure every label at Fashion Palette will be lucky enough to enjoy.
