Marc Jacobs S/S 2011
This look has more vintage appeal for those sassy nights out on the town, or for looking the part at the Sunday Vintage Market. Apply a smoothing creme from mid lengths to ends – this will help to lose the frizz. Remove excess water by blasting the hair until it’s around 80% dry. Blowdry hair smooth with volume on the crown. Using a large round brush will create lift at the root. Whilst working through the hair, you could also allow the hair to cool using large Velcro Rollers. Rolling these into the root will set the lift. Ensure the roller sits on top of the section to stop the root dragging as this will create flatness. Using GHDs, take small sections on a verticle angle from the head and curl the hair from the mid lengths to ends all in the same direction. We can now begin to finish the style. Comb out using a Mason Pearson soft bristle brush; spray a light to medium hold hairspray directly onto the bristles then work through the hair. This will help tame those fly away hairs, smoothing and creating a beautiful wave. Finish the look by using a Serum (Unico Formulations Serum, RRP $23) to create a glossy shine.
