On the 25th May, Barilla’s Executive Chef, Luca Ciano, will host an exclusive ‘Dinner with the Baker’ Master Class at Casa Barilla with Italian pastry chef extraordinaire, Pino Lacantro.
Together, both renowned chefs will share their trade secrets in an intimate setting, celebrating the best of authentic Italian Cuisine.
Pino Locantro has been a pastry chef for more than 20 years and is the proud owner of a busy café and patisserie in Leichardt, where loyal customers queue day in and day out for his delicious, award-winning pastries, cakes, pies and indulgent sweet treats.
In this rare master class, both Luca and Pino will demonstrate how to prepare two stunning Bakery quality dishes that can be easily replicated at home. To start with, Pino will demonstrate how to bake a mouth watering and authentic Italian Ciabatta Bread, served with pesto dips. Before moving on to demonstrating how to make decadent black and white profiterole cakes. Both dishes are ideal for entertaining and are sure to impress loved ones, families and friends!
Together both exceptional chef’s will share their passion for superb Italian cuisine and enlighten guests on their secret cooking skills in a wonderfully warm, friendly, relaxed environment.
